Marcin’s Journey from the UK to North America and Back
Our Constant Systems Engineers are ready for another busy month of travel and client visits. September will mark a whirlwind of service calls across prestigious universities in both the UK and North America. Here’s a look at their upcoming journey.
Starting in the UK: Oxford, Cambridge, and Beyond
Starting off the month of September in the UK, Marcin quickly got to work, servicing equipment at some of the country’s leading universities. His first stops were the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, two world-renowned institutions with long histories and cutting-edge research facilities. Following his visits to Oxford and Cambridge, Marcin made his way north to Scotland, where he visited the University of Dundee and the University of St Andrews. His next stops were Newcastle University, continuing to the University of Leeds and the University of Manchester, where he continued to ensure that his clients’ equipment was performing at its best. A true whistlestop tour of the UK’s top universities up and down the country.

North America: A Growing Client Base
With the UK leg of our Services complete, we are now shifting our focus to North America, where the client base continues to grow. Our engineer – Max Farey’s first stop will be the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, where he will be servicing key equipment on campus. From there, he will head south to service equipment in San Francisco which marks the first phase of his trip across the USA.
From San Francisco Max will enjoy a scenic drive down the California coast to the University of California in San Diego. This stretch of the journey, with its stunning ocean views, will be a highlight, as Max makes the most of the beautiful weather and prepares for another round of equipment maintenance services.
Exploring Texas: San Antonio to Dallas
Next, Max will fly to Texas, starting his Service visit in San Antonio before driving up to Dallas. The drive between cities will provide Max with a chance to enjoy the vast landscapes that the Lone Star State is famous for. In Dallas, he will meet with clients and make sure their equipment is ready for the upcoming academic year.
A Tennessee Road Trip: Memphis to Nashville
After completing his work in Texas, Max will fly into Memphis, Tennessee. From there, he will embark on another road trip—this time to Vanderbilt University in Nashville. The journey through Tennessee will be a blend of musical history and academic focus, and Max will be impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities at Vanderbilt, where his work plays a vital role in supporting ongoing research.
Wrapping Up in Ontario
The final leg of Max’s North American tour will take him to Ontario, Canada, where he will service equipment for a long-standing client before preparing to head back to the UK. With all tasks completed and clients satisfied, Max will conclude his busy two-week trip across Canada and the USA.
Looking Ahead
September looks set to be a month of constant movement for Marcin & Max, from the historic universities of the UK to the academic powerhouses of North America. Their work continues to have a direct impact on the research and discoveries made at these institutions, and with more trips planned, the adventure is far from over. Stay tuned for Max & Marcin’s next journey!
