This season Constant Systems is the proud home shirt sponsor of Drayton Grange U14 Panthers football team.  

Drayton Grange football club was formed in February 1976 by founder members Ken Barton and Alf Hudson with the original intention of giving kids from a local housing estate in Daventry (The Grange) a game of football. 

Originally playing friendlies against established teams under the name Daventry Young Blades, the club entered an under 12’s team under its new name Drayton Grange into the Rugby and District league in 1978  

A club committee was soon established a few years later and with the introduction of the Tote the club could raise funds and become financially stable and set foundations for the clubs growth.

Game week1 bought a local derby against Daventry Town 

Daventry Town took the lead shortly into the first half but Drayton Grange fought back well and netted twice in the first half to go into the break 2-1 ahead  

In the second half Daventry Town started well and levelled the score and soon went ahead 2-3, Drayton Grange managed to bring the score once again to a tie at 3-3 but Daventry Town finished the stronger team with the final score being 3-5 with Daventry Town the victors.
